At CES 2024, Samsung is introducing a brand new product – The Music Frame. This is the “world’s first customizable and personalized wireless speaker,” and it also has a built-in IoT hub. So what makes this so unique? Well, it’s a speaker that has the look and feel of a picture frame. So you can use this as a standalone Bluetooth or WiFi Speaker. You also have the ability to pair the Music Frame with your Samsung TV and/or soundbar and use it as a TV speaker, rear speaker, or subwoofer.

Samsung says that the Music Frame is able to blend in beautifully with your decor, letting you display any photograph or printed image or even digitally print your favorite memories onto the accompanying art panel.

Music Frame has Dolby Atmos sound in a form factor that can blend into any room. It is hiding two woofers, two tweeters, and two mid-drivers behind your photo. Samsung’s SpaceFit technology allows it to perfectly calibrate audio to your environment, too.

Samsung’s new soundbars for 2024

Samsung is also introducing a few new soundbars in 2024, including the new top-of-the-line HW-Q990D soundbar. This delivers an 11.1.4 channel sound experience and is the world’s first to offer wireless Dolby Atmos. Samsung has also managed to add 4K 120Hz pass-through. This ensures that the sound from your favorite gaming title is as fast, smooth, and lag-free as the visuals.

Q-Symphony allows the soundbar to adjust its sound profile to be either central, perfect for sitting on a couch and watching a movie, or expansive, where each part of the system provides balanced audio that’s ideal for room-filling music. The Party Play Mode lets each part of the sound system play a balanced profile and bring the life of the party.

Finally, we have the ultra-slim soundbars from Samsung: HW-S800D, HW-S810D and HW-700D. The HW-S800D measures about 46 inches long, about a third of the depth of conventional soundbars. So whether mounted to a wall or set flat on a stand, it works great with the latest ultra-thin Samsung TVs. Meanwhile, the HW-S700D is a much smaller soundbar, measuring 35 x 1.4 x 1.5 inches. This soundbar, in particular, is meant for TVs that are 55 inches and smaller.

Currently, Samsung has not announced pricing or release dates for any of these new soundbars or the Music Frame. We should hear more in a few months, however.
