Ahead of CES 2024, Sylvox has announced a new Google TV that will be on display in Las Vegas. It’s a new 15.6-inch waterproof smart TV that is portable, has an IP66 waterproof rating, and has Google TV built-in. Now we’ve seen some pretty exciting things at CES over the years, but this might take the cake.

This TV from Sylvox does weigh in at about 4.85 lbs. For a TV that is 15.6 inches, that is not too bad, actually. The Razer Blade 15, which has a similar display size, weighs in at 4.40 lbs.

The TV is meant to sit just under the surface of the water and not sit at the bottom of the pool. It has a 360-degree rotatable stand and can last about 4.5 to six hours of playback with the built-in battery. That’s long enough to watch a couple of movies. Since Google TV is built-in, that means that Cast is also here for Android and iOS mirror-casting.

Sylvox also has a new 75-inch Cinema Outdoor TV

Sylvox has also announced a new 75-inch Cinema Smart Outdoor TV, which is also being announced today. Since this is an outdoor TV, it does need to be pretty bright. This TV is stated to have a peak brightness of 3500 nits. That makes it one of the brighter TVs on the market today. For comparison, another outdoor TV, Samsung’s The Terrace, is actually rated at 2,000 nits of peak brightness.

The kicker? This TV is also waterproof. It’s unlikely that you’d put this TV in your pool. However, this does mean that it is able to stand up to the weather elements, as well as splashes from the pool or elsewhere.

Finally, Sylvox is also announcing a new 15.6-inch Kitchen Smart TV, which is a 1080p resolution model with a unique folding design. This is going to allow it to fit snugly beneath cabinets and optimize kitchen space. This could be a better alternative than using a smart display in the kitchen.

Sylvox is going to be displaying all of these new TVs at CES next week, and we will be going hands-on with them. So stay tuned.
